Traffic jam on DN 1 and DN 7 at the start of the weekend

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the Romanian Inspectorate General of Police informed this trafficintense on Friday, 15:00, on DN 1, between Ploiesti and Brașov. There is a queue of cars between the resorts of Predeal and Bușteni, on the way to Ploiesti. On the other hand, towards Brașov, it is difficult to drive within the Comarnic city radius.

Similar conditions also occurred on DN 7, between Râmnicu Vâlcea and Sibiu, with traffic jams in the radius of the Bujoreni and Călimănești areas, Vâlcea region, as well as at the exit of the A1 Motorway to DN 7 in the municipality of Bascov, Argeș region.

Police predict high traffic levels will continue in the following hours, at the start of the weekend, when many residents start their journey.

Drivers are advised to know the traffic conditions in advance, avoid overtaking and turning in unauthorized places, and be careful when carrying out driving maneuvers. In addition, the use of alternative routes and compliance with traffic police directions can help streamline traffic on busy arteries.
