An oil refinery in the Russian city of Saratov was hit by a Ukrainian drone attack last night, Reuters reported.
Videos shared on social media showed no fire or damage at the site, and the refinery was largely unscathed.
The action was led by Ukrainian military intelligence, which told Reuters the strikes caused damage, but did not specify the type or extent of the damage.
During the war, Ukraine frequently targeted Russian refineries, and sometimes managed to disable much of their capacity.
Saratov Oblast Governor Roman Busargin said debris fell in the city's industrial zone after the impact, but no one was injured.
The Saratov refinery processed 115,400 barrels per day in the first nine months of 2024, up from 101,200 in 2023. The plant produces motor fuel, diesel and bitumen.
Less than 10 miles from Saratov is also a large air base that houses strategic bombers and has been attacked by Ukraine before.
