Yemen's Houthi rebels, who are allies of Iran, said today that they attacked the Nevatim air base in southern Israel, DPA reported.
The group also intercepted US drones in western Yemen, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saria said.
The Israeli military said it had intercepted a missile fired from Yemen.
Israel has been under constant attack by the so-called “Axis of Resistance”, which includes Iran's allies, since the start of the Gaza war a year ago, the DPA said.
In addition to Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza, the Resistance Axis includes militias in Iraq and Houthi rebels in Yemen.
The US and Israeli armed forces have responded to the attacks by repeatedly bombing targets in Yemen.
