The city council in Svishtov adopted a decision to assume the debt of the Flag Fund for the Industrial Technology Park. The decision was taken with 21 votes in favor, one vote against, and four abstentions.
The maximum debt amount is up to BGN 24,768,000. These funds are needed to provide funds for the implementation of industrial area projects. The debt repayment period is up to 240 months from the date of signing the loan agreement.
At a previous meeting, city council members approved it make a loan agreement to implement the project “Construction of the Danube – Svishtov Industrial Technological Park”. The loan amount is BGN 25,500,000 which will be taken by the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB).
Yesterday on work meeting with the official Minister of Innovation and Growth Rosen Karadimov, representatives of the regional government and the Danube Industrial Technology Park in Svishtov, the financing institutions Flag Fund and BBR pointed to the project financing as an example of how institutions and regional governments can work in sync.
