The oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected and inaugurated constitutional judges will be held on November 14 at 10.00 WIB in the open courtroom of the Constitutional Court, the institution announced.
The oath-taking will take place in the presence of the Speaker of the National Assembly, the President and Chair of the Supreme Court of Cassation Galina Zakharova and the Supreme Administrative Court Georgi Cholakov.
A few days ago head of state Rumen Radev signed the decreewith which he appointed Dr. Nevin Fetti and Prof. Sasho Penov for members of the Constitutional Court from the presidential quota.
Also the General Assembly (GA) judges of the Supreme State Administrative Court and the Supreme State Administrative Court (SAC) elected judge Galina Toneva-Dacheva of the Supreme Court of Cassation (SCC) as a member of the Constitutional Court.
BTA remembers that in January this year, Desislava Atanasova and Borislav Belazelkov were appointed as constitutional judges. Both were elected on January 19 by the National Assembly as members of the Constitutional Court from parliamentary quotas.
