Bayern were fined €150,000 after fans used fireworks in a Cup match

Bayern Munich have been fined €150,000 because their fans used fireworks, the German Football Association's sports tribunal has ruled.

Bayern fans lit at least 70 torches during their 4-0 win over Ulm in the first round of the German Cup on August 16.

German degree holders can use up to €50,000 to invest in measures related to safety or violence prevention. This must be proven to the federation no later than September 30 2025. Bayern officials have accepted the decision.
