Finland lost 0-1 at halftime against Ireland in the men's UEFA Nations League away match. Irish striker Evan Ferguson put Ireland ahead in the 45th minute from Mikey Johnston's cross.

Huuhkaj previously had a chance to take the lead. Robin Lodi's shot hit the goal post after only half an hour of the match. Ten minutes later, Oliver Antman rattled the same post.

Finland lost four UEFA Nations League games this fall. Huhkajat needs a win against Dublin to avoid relegation to level C of the Nations League.
