Google has released it Gemini App for iOS, lets users tinker with the AI assistant via voice, text, or camera. The new app offers all the basic functions you could previously access through the Gemini section of the Google app.

One of the important additions to the Gemini app on iOS is direct access to Gemini Live – a real-time voice chat experience with Google's AI assistant. iPhone 15 Pro series and iPhone 16 series users can also assign the Gemini app via the Action Button for quick searches or conversations
Like AI assistants from other competitors on iOS, Google Gemini can't control the apps or settings on your iPhone, but it can access data between Google's suite of apps like Maps, Gmail, Drive, and YouTube.
