“ViK – Petrich” manager Ivaylo Hristov told reporters that there were problems with two of the company's vehicles due to tire bolts loosening within a week, and camera footage is currently being examined to determine whether it was an intentional act.
“Last week, one of the official cars had a tire come off while driving. Thank God he drove slowly and there was no serious accident. We don't care about this case. At the end of the week in the official car I was driving with my colleague Vencislav Filchev, while driving we felt a strange sound. “When we checked, we found that the rear left wheel bolt was loose and within minutes the tire came off,” explained Ivaylo Hristov.
On both cars, no intervention was carried out to replace the summer tires with winter tires and at one point, said the manager of “ViV – Petrich”. He detailed that there are cameras in the municipal corporation area whose footage is being reviewed. If records show that it was a deliberate act, the manager will notify the Regional Office of the Ministry of the Interior in Petrich, as well as the Prosecutor's Office.
On Hristov's advice, company employees who use company cars have checked the condition of the tires before using the car.
