Shocking footage has emerged showing what is believed to be the first use of an intercontinental ballistic missile by Russia in war.
The missiles were reportedly fired from the Kapustin Yar test site in the Astrakhan region and at the Yuzhmash defense plant in Dnipro.
The dramatic video shows flashes of light illuminating six warheads believed to be six separate warheads of the R-26 Rubezh intercontinental ballistic missile.
To date, the R-26 Rubezh has not been used since its conception in 2011. This aircraft was designed to carry nuclear weapons but is now seen as outdated equipment.
Although this is a conventional attack, it may pave the way for a potential nuclear attack Vladimir Putinstrength.
