Rennertshofen
The dead have been identified following a fire in an apartment building in Rennertshofen (Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district). The man was the homeowner who lived alone, they said POLICE with. The 63-year-old man died from smoke inhalation.
The attic of a house in Upper Bavaria caught fire on Monday (18/11). Due to the enormous heat buildup and high risk of collapse, emergency services were only able to enter the house several hours later. After the extinguishing work was completed at noon, the bodies were recovered from the house. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
