Ambassador of United States of America in the Mexico, Ken Salazarstated that “what stopped us were the judges,” referring to the obstacles faced in the extradition process for various defendants, including Miguel Angel Treviño Morales.
The diplomat stressed the need for reform Court to speed up this procedure.
Responding to this statement, Juan Manuel Delgadodefense attorney Miguel Ángel Treviño Morales, asserted that “his client is innocent of all the charges brought against him.”
“Miguel Ángel Treviño Morales was acquitted in the latest judicial resolution, and does not face any open proceedings in Mexico or the United States.”
“Statements to the contrary have no legal basis,” Delgado said.

Meanwhile, the defense stated that the allegations were contradictory Treviño Morales unfounded and the legal situation is clear.
