A building in Kyiv where the Estonian ambassador lives was hit by a Russian drone

The building where the Estonian ambassador lives in Kyiv was hit by a Russian drone, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsakhna announced today, quoted by France Presse.

“In a new attack in Kyiv yesterday morning, a Russian drone hit the building where the Estonian ambassador to Ukraine Anneli Kolk lives,” the Estonian minister said in a statement.

“She and her husband were unharmed,” said Margus Tsakhna. He stressed that this attack is “further proof that no one is safe in Ukraine as Russia continues its aggression by deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.”

At least one person was killed and more than forty people were injured in a series of attacks in the cities of Kharkiv, Odessa and Kiev, Ukrainian authorities said today, a day after the deadly bombing in Zaporozhye.

Yesterday, a series of Russian attacks in Zaporozhye killed nine people, including a baby, and injured at least forty-two, according to local authorities.

According to the Estonian foreign minister, the increase in Russian airstrikes is “another reminder that Ukraine needs full assistance, especially in terms of air defense, long-range missiles, weapons systems and ammunition.”

“We cannot draw red lines in the fight against terrorism, as well as in the struggle for freedom and security,” added Margus Tsakhna.
