A total of 542 people from the Vidin area have access to their patient files on the e-Health mobile application. In the Regional Health Inspectorate (RHI), 316 people paired phones with the application, and in the offices of the “Information Service” (IO) and the Regional Health Insurance Fund (RHI) – 39 and 187 people respectively to BTA by IO.
The National Health Insurance Fund encourages insured persons to actively check their patient records, allowing them to exercise full control over their medical care information. In addition, they can immediately file a report if they find any inaccuracies, reports the press center RZOK – Vidin. And they stipulate that in their archives every citizen can find out health data about examinations, laboratory test results, hospitalizations, vaccinations, incl. instructions and recipes. This is a form of effective control over the activities of health institutions and pharmacies that collaborate with health insurance funds.
The service of pairing the phone with the e-Health app is completely free. A current email address is required. People who have a qualified electronic signature can do so via computer without needing to visit the RZI, RZOK or IO offices, the local health administration in Vidin also informed.
