Bulgarian customs and traditions will be presented to students together by ethnographers from RIM – Haskovo and musicians from the Municipal Folk Orchestra

The “Ethnography” department of the Regional Historical Museum in Haskovo together with the Municipal Folk Orchestra is organizing the “Christmas in the Museum” initiative for another year in December, the organizers announced.

In the days between December 9 and 13, in one lesson, ethnographers Dilyana Petsova and Margarita Tsvetanova will present to local students the traditions, customs and rituals of celebrations, songs and nicknames that were characteristic of the Haskovo region from the past for Varvara , Sava, Nicholas Day, St. Patrick's Day John, Midsummer's Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Musicians from the Haskovo Municipal Folk Orchestra, led by Dimcho Yordanov, will perform Christmas carols, choirs and hymns.
