Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A26 show one major improvement

Samsung launched Galaxy A25 in December last year, so we are quickly approaching the point where his replacement will be unveiled. That hasn't happened yet, but today we have the first leaked renders showing the upcoming Galaxy A26 in all its glory.

The phone measures 164 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm (9.7 mm if you include the camera bump). This makes it taller, wider and slimmer than its predecessor, which is quite interesting – there's a strong hint here that the screen will be larger than the 6.5″ panel used by the A25, and in fact the source of this render speculates that the screen will be approx. 6.64″.

According to benchmarks run, the A26 will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 1280 SoC like the A25, paired with 6GB RAM in one version (though just like the A25, more options will definitely be on offer). The Galaxy A26 could launch with Android 15 from day one and the price will be very similar to its predecessor.

As you can see from the renders, the phone has a flat display with a vintage-looking waterdrop notch and a thick bottom bezel. The three cameras on the back are all on the same island, no more individual circles.

The sides are also flat, because of course it's 2024, but there's also Samsung's Key Island on the right, which juts out from the flat frame to house the power and volume buttons.
