Marcos Pinheiro de Souza Júnior, 21 years old, was arrested in action last Wednesday (16), for drug trafficking, illegal possession of permitted firearms and ammunition. The arrest took place on Rua 5, Dalila Maciel neighborhood, in the municipality of Maraã, in the interior of Amazonas.
According to delegate Rodrigo Beraldo, from the 60th DIP Maraã, an investigation began looking into an anonymous complaint indicating that Marcos' residence served as a place for drug sales. Based on this information, a search and seizure warrant was requested from the Court, and it was granted.
“After the court order was issued, the police team went to Marcos' residence. “At the scene of the incident, a 20-gauge long-barreled gun was found, five rounds of ammunition, one of which was exploded, precision scales, 10 grams of cocaine-based paste, and approximately 11 grams of skunk-type marijuana,” said the delegation.
Marcos Pinheiro de Souza Júnior will be responsible for drug trafficking crimes and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. Now he remains under the responsibility of the Judiciary.
