A man was arrested for buying votes this Sunday morning (6) in Luziânia, Goiás. The suspect offered R$20 to a voter, who had to vote for his nominated candidate.
The incident occurred in a bakery. According to the assistant delegate from the Integrated Security Operations Center (Ciops), the suspect approached the man and asked if he had voted.
With this refusal, the suspect handed over a small card containing R$20. Police officers who followed the scene captured the scene.
Taken to Ciops, only the buyer gets charged. According to the delegation, federal police will be responsible if there are new suspects throughout the day.
