Elements of the Fire Brigade and Civil Protection Unit were mobilized on Friday morning after reports of a burning pipe in the western sector of the city.
It is located on Industria Street in the Primera Rinconada neighborhood, in Torreón; Where the authorities found the pipe on fire, so they immediately carried out maneuvers to extinguish the fire concentrated in the white pipe motors belonging to the Parks and Gardens Department of the municipality of Torreón.
Supported by fast assault engines and tanker trucks, Firefighters in coordination with Civil Protection unit personnel succeeded in extinguishing the fire completely within minutes.
The unit operator explained to the Satpol PP officers who handled the emergency that the pipe was being repaired. and they have taken it out of the workshop to do some tests.
After the work was completed, emergency forces left the scene. No injuries or intoxication were reported in the emergency, only material damage was suffered by the pipeline.
