The leader of the Gulen religious movement named after himself died in hospital on Sunday evening. It is reported that he has been undergoing treatment for a long time. Doctors are expected to comment on the cause of death in the coming hours.
The movement is said to include around four million people. President of Türkiye Erdoğan accused Gulen of initiating a coup in 2016.
