MotoGP today confirmed that the final Grand Prix of the season will take place between November 15 and 17 in Barcelona, not Valencia.
This is the end of the 2024 season, but it will still be held in Spain after the Valencia circuit was unable to hold a race due to flooding in the area which caused many deaths and damage.
Thus, the final race will be held in Barcelona, the organizers from “Dorna Sports” decided, and most likely the champion will be determined between Jorge Martin and Francesco Banaya. So far, Spaniard Martin is 24 points ahead of the Italian.
Flooding and heavy rain also occurred in Catalonia, but this did not prevent the Grand Prix from taking place in Barcelona.
