The First Panel of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) reached a majority vote to maintain the preventive detention of Domingos Brazão. He is one of the people accused of ordering the murder of council member Marielle Franco and driver Anderson Gomes.
The collegiate analyzed, in a virtual plenary, Brazão's defense application requesting that he be released with the implementation of precautionary measures. The results of the vote from the rapporteur of the case, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, were in favor of maintaining the prison.
