Maria Vitória, a law student, was found unconscious at Integration Terminal 3 (T3), on Avenida Noel Nutels, in the Cidade Nova neighborhood, North Zone of Manaus. The student was allegedly drugged while using public transportation and his cellphone was stolen.
Eyewitnesses reported that a man approached Maria Vitória on the bus and applied a substance to her arm. After wiping his face, the student got off the bus and began to feel nauseous, making him feel nauseous. The same man offered to help and took advantage of the situation to steal her cellphone before fleeing.
A team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and took the student to the Emergency Care Service (SPA) and Dr. Poliklinika. Danilo Corrêa, where he received medical treatment.
The Civil Police is investigating the case and working to identify and arrest those responsible for the crime.
