Toyota released a teaser image revealing some features on the redesigned 2025 Toyota 4Runner SUV, including what is believed to be a 14-inch infotainment screen and retaining the sliding rear window.
The 4Runner is the last of the Japanese brand’s “Four Brothers” slated to move onto Toyota’s global F1 body-on-frame platform, following the redesigned full-size Tundra pickup and Sequoia SUV, as well as the midsize Tacoma pickup. Full design specs and features are expected to be revealed Tuesday, April 9, when the SUV is shown at an event in California.
The teaser image also shows the 4Runner sporting a chrome roof rack, as well as a tailgate-mounted exterior window switch near the brand’s badging. Inside the cabin, the large infotainment screen is running Toyota’s Audio Multimedia system, which was developed in the U.S.
The 4Runner will also feature an optional hybridized powertrain to offer additional torque and horsepower.
