Those in roles earning less than £35,000 will receive a six per cent rise. Staff on salaries above £35,000 will be set to receive a 5.5 per cent rise.
Speaking of the sweet gesture, a source said: “It's easy to forget how hard people work behind the scenes at the Palace, but the King hasn't.
“He and Camilla have had a lot to worry about with his cancer diagnosis, but he is clearly thinking about others too. This is a real morale boost for staff.”
The recent increase follows a cost of livingheating and mortgage grant imposed by King Charles in 2022. Staff received up to £600.

This news comes after a major review of more than 1,000 charity patronages and presidencies previously held by the late monarch.
The King announced that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer earlier this year.
After spending time away from public duties, the King returned last week with a visit to the Macmillan Cancer Center at University College Hospital.
Appearing alongside the Queen, the King took advantage of his visit to speak of his shock at the diagnosis of the disease.
Ahead of the engagement, Buckingham Palace issued a statement saying: “His Majesty the King will soon return to his public duties following a period of treatment and recovery following his recent cancer diagnosis.
“To help mark this milestone, the King and Queen will make a joint visit to a cancer treatment center next Tuesday, where they will meet specialist doctors and patients.”
Following the death of the late queen in September 2022, Charles became monarch, with his eldest son, Prince William the next in line of succession to the royal throne.
In October 2022, the Royal Family's official X account confirmed the date and location of the King's coronation. The tweet, along with a photo of the couple, read: “The coronation of His Majesty the King will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey. At the ceremony, His Majesty King Charles III will be crowned alongside the Queen Consort.”
