I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! bosses have teased what’s in store for this year’s coming out special following the ITV series drawing to a close after three jam-packed weeks of jungle action.
A peak overnight audience of 7.6 million people watched Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson be crowned this year’s winner on Sunday evening. In second place was boxer Tony Bellew, and former UKIP leader Nigel Farage was in third place.
Fans of the long-running series, which is hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, will be treated to a coming-out special which includes the latest news of all of the stars from the show.
The famous faces to enter the camp this year included Josie Gibson, Marvin Humes, Frankie Dettori, Jamie Lynn Spears, Grace Dent, Nella Rose, Fred Sirieix, Danielle Harold and Nick Pickard.
Express.co.uk has all you need to know about this year’s exit special ahead of its release on ITV and ITVX on Wednesday night at 9pm.
Frankie was the first star to be voted out of the jungle and he was thrilled to enter his hotel room and tuck into a green salad with an ice-cold beer. He couldn’t wait to have a shower he did not smell great, and his wife Catherine joked: “I can’t wait for you to have a shower either.”
YouTube star Nella was next out and she could not wait to enjoy the hotel either. In the car to the hotel, she admitted: “I’m kinda nervous of my perception to the public but I feel like I was 100 per cent myself.”
“The Trials are way scarier in real life than they are on TV, I’ll tell you that for free. I’m proud for attempting everything that I attempted, I’m way stronger than I thought”
Fred, who caused a stir in camp after being demoted from head chef, said of Josie taking over the kitchen: “I’m just watching a car crash in real-time and the thing that makes it worse is she doesn’t listen.”
Elsewhere on the show, Nick, Danielle and Nella catch up with cocktails to discuss how intense their experience on the show was.
When Josie left the camp, she addressed the beef with Fred which viewers saw unfold on screens. She said: “When I took over as camp chef, Fred didn’t like it. In the end, everyone did prefer my food.”
Jamie Lynn and Grace also addressed quitting the series, with the American sharing: “The first few days in camp were tough for me…[But] these wonderful humans just scooped me up and brought out a side of me that I just didn’t think that I had”.
Grace confessed: “Leaving my campmates and the girls will be the greatest regret of my life.”
Nigel was next to leave followed by Tony ahead of Sam’s victory. Sam FaceTimed his girlfriend Zara McDermott to tell her the news as she could not fly out to Queensland to greet him.
As the campmates reunited after Sam’s win, Nigel said: “This has been the most amazing adventure, I’ve proved to myself I can do things I never believed I could. I hope I’ve shown the British public I’m not the devil that half of them seem to think I am.”
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Coming Out Wednesday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
