James Martin has split from his long-term girlfriend Louise Davies after 12 years together.
The former couple lived together in a mansion in Hampshire during their relationship with the chef previously revealing they had no plans to ever marry.
A spokesperson confirmed their separation and shared that James, 51, and Louise parted ways in December 2023 but remain firm friends, according to Mail Online.
The news of their split comes as the ITV chef admitted he had no plans to walk down the aisle and tie the knot anytime soon.
Speaking to the Sunday People in 2019, James said: “No, it doesn’t interest me in the slightest, mainly because I’ve catered for so many weddings, really.
“I admire people who do it, that’s fine, but I’m quite happy. I don’t need to spend 60 grand on a day, no, I’m more than happy thanks.”
News of their split comes after he was pictured looking happy and relaxed while looking at watches in Mayfair, London, with personal trainer Kim Johnson. The trainer was formerly married to businessman Arun Nayar – who was once also married to Elizabeth Hurley.
James previously shared his personal regrets having never married or had children, telling Prima magazine: “The biggest low of my career is that I’ve given up everything for it.
“I look at my mates and they’re all married with kids, and that’s not the case for me because I’ve been so focused on work. The level of commitment it requires and the choices you have to make have a huge impact.”
At the end of last year, James announced he would be taking a career break amid his cancer battle.
“On a personal note, I just wanted to say thank you for 30 years of television,” he said at a public event.
“For me personally, I’ve been through a lot of s**t with cancer but I’m getting sorted at the end of next month.
“I will be back fighting at the end of February but I’m going on a little bit of a break to get that sorted.”
James added: “I just wanted to say thank you for all your support and all your messages.”
