For the second night in a row, Odessa and the surrounding region were attacked by drones from the Black Sea, local channels on the Telegram app reported.
A loud explosion echoed in the Ukrainian Black Sea city. Local channels in “Telegram” inform about possible targets and attacks.
The sirens were activated at 23:21 (Bulgarian time).
Like yesterday, Odessa was attacked by more than 10 drones.
Other seaside settlements – Chernomorsk, Yuzhny, Karolino Bugaz, Gribovka and Zatoka – are under threat of attack.
Local authorities have urged the public to remain in bomb shelters until the alert is lifted.
Bulgarians in the Odessa region number more than 150,000 people and are the third largest ethnic community according to the official census in Ukraine in 2001. About 50-60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odessa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
