A 46-year-old Russian man was rescued after 67 days in the Pacific. On August 9, he set off from a cape in the Khabarovsk region with his brother and nephew for the town of Okha on Sakhalin Island.
According to Telegram channel Baza, the family was traveling to see whales. On the way home, they disappeared. The search for the family was called off after a month.

Dead “Krone” reported that two fishermen found the boat drifting in the Sea of Okhotsk on October 14. The survivor had lost as much as 50 kilograms during his wanderings. He tied a red flag to a short pole on the boat to signal his distress.
The boat carrying the 46-year-old man was found hundreds of kilometers away across the Sea of Okhotsk near the village of Ust-Khairyuzovo on the Kamchatka Peninsula. On board, rescue workers found the bodies of his brother and nephew. According to “Krone”, he is receiving medical treatment.
