A Brazilian Air Force (FAB) F-5M fighter plane crashed this Tuesday (22), in Rio Grande do Norte, during a training flight.
According to the FAB press office, before exiting the plane, the pilot directed it to an uninhabited area.
“The soldier, before successfully carrying out the ejection procedure of the aircraft, directing it to an uninhabited area, was rescued by the FAB rescue team”, informs the press agency.
In addition, according to the Air Force, the accident will be investigated by the Center for Aviation Accident Investigation and Prevention (CENIPA), “to identify possible contributing factors to prevent new similar events from occurring.”
