Ciudad Juárez.- Elements of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) of the North Zone District Prosecutor's Office detained Jesús Jonathan HF when he was in possession of a gray 2021 model Kia Seltos vehicle, which had a theft report, reported Gabriela Cota Santos, spokesperson for the social representative.
The arrest of the 27-year-old man occurred at Plutarco Elías Calles and Francisco I. Madero streets, in the Azteca neighborhood, where agents checked the vehicle he was driving and verified that there was a theft report filed on May 19, 2024 in the city of El Paso, Texas.
The detainees, as well as the insured cars, were placed under the control of the Public Ministry's Vehicle Theft Crime Special Investigation Unit for related investigations that determine their legal situation.
“This work of social representation shows the commitment of police elements to immediately formulate justice and provide a sense of security to citizens affected by actions that threaten their integrity, not only physical and moral, but also patrimonial,” said the spokesperson for social representation.
