Ciudad Juárez.- The Municipal Water and Sanitation Board (JMAS) reported that the drinking water leak on National Guard and Paseo de la Victoria roads was caused by the rupture of an 8-inch diameter pipe resulting from work carried out by the Sahuaro company.
These works are not part of JMAS's work, but are related to private projects.
The leak has affected services in several neighborhoods, including Las Misiones, Misión de los Lagos, Las Lunas, Harmony, Gardeno, Star Médica, Paseo de Los Nogales, Consulado, La Joya, Bosques del Sol and Jardines del Lago.
Currently the JMAS crew is working to repair the leak.
It is expected that work will be completed this afternoon, so that services to the affected areas can be restored.
