City of Juarez.– Two men were hit by gunfire in the La Chaveña neighborhood, one of whom died instantly from a gunshot to the head and the other was transferred in critical condition to hospital.

City police from the Central District went to Globo and Federico Allende streets, near the locksmith market, where they found the victims lying on the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

A City Police commander said they thought both were dead, but one of them was still breathing and they called an ambulance to take him to hospital.

Soldiers and National Guard elements attended the scene, helping to protect the perimeter.
