Judges, magistrates and Judicial Branch workers get up continuing the work stoppage across the country in pushback against recent Senate Republican actions, after legislators held a buttona to determine the justices' vote share in 2025 and 2027, which they describe as a “a spectacle of ridicule”.
this Friday, National Association of Circuit Judges and District Judges Judicial Branch of the Federation (JUFED) A second consultation was carried out to determine whether they would continue with the partial suspension of work or not. The size voted in favor by 809 personaswhile 497 requested the resumption of work from Monday, October 21.
“This decision reflects the unity of the judges with the movement of jurisdictional personnel and is a strong and energetic rejection of recent actions taken by the Republican Senate by holding a high-profile lottery to ridicule the nation's judges, as did the Federal Judiciary Council by not issuing regulations that provide certainty for the rights of the heads of the Judicial Branch of the Federation,” read the JUFED statement.
