During Friday's vote in the Sejm, lawmakers adopted draft budget amendments proposed by Donald Tusk's government. A total of 241 members of parliament voted in favor, 206 against, and 5 abstained. The document will now be sent to the Senate.
The revised draft budget for the current year takes into account lower revenues and expenditures than the previous plan at unchanged levels. Thus, the deficit will increase by more than PLN 56 billion.
