Ciudad Juárez— Elements of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Drug Traffickers in the Northern Zone, arrested a man for possession of two firearms, reported Gabriela Cota Santos, spokesperson for the Northern District Prosecutor's Office.
On Linares and Melchor Ocampo streets, in the Mariano Escobedo neighborhood, they arrested Cristian Jair SN, 21, who lived in the same sector.
Two short-handed firearms were confiscated from him; one of 25 millimeter caliber, with a metal magazine chambered for five useful cartridges, and a .38 caliber Smith & Wesson special pistol chambered for three useful cartridges.
Detained for the flagrant crime of violating the Federal Law on Firearms and Explosives, handed over to the General Ministry of federal jurisdiction.
