Sinaloa.- Gunmen opened fire on the building of El Debate de Culiacán newspaper, in Sinaloa, with no injuries reported so far.
According to media reports, at around 23:00 (00:00, CDMX time), armed men traveling in at least two vehicles attacked the media building.
The front of the building located at 555 Francisco I. Madero Boulevard, downtown, had at least 12 gunshot wounds. Likewise, two private cars and one belonging to a newspaper were damaged by gunfire.
These events occurred amid a violent crisis in the state ruled by Morenoist Rubén Rocha, who stated that there was “no reason for concern”, as everything had been resolved “without major complications”.
Just this Thursday, in the Tepuche government, in Culiacán, there were shootings, drug blockades and confrontations between the military and suspected hitmen that left six armed civilians dead.
