The body of an unknown man was found this Thursday (17), in a forest area, on Rua 11, Planalto neighborhood, Manaus Central-West Zone. The victim was found by someone who was walking in the area.
Based on information, a local resident who was walking in the area smelled a strong smell and called the police. Arriving at the scene, the team found the body.
The victim, whose identity is not yet known, was wearing jeans and a shirt. He apparently had no gunshot marks or stab wounds. There is no information about the motivation for the crime.
The Legal Medical Institute (IML) was called to remove the body. The Special Police Office for Homicide and Kidnapping (DEHS) should investigate this case.
