The 2025 Grammy Awards nominations have been announced, and Beyoncé and Taylor Swift have made history. Beyoncé earned 11 nominations, making her the most-nominated artist in Grammy history. This comes after his country music album, Cowboy Carter, was snubbed at this year's Country Music Association awards.
Taylor Swift, on the other hand, received her seventh Album of the Year nomination for The Tortured Poets Department, surpassing Barbra Streisand's previous record of six nominations. Swift won this category last year with her album Midnights.
Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone also received seven nominations each, trailing Beyoncé. This year, the Grammy Awards introduced three new categories: “Best African Music Performance,” “Best Pop Dance Recording,” and “Best Alternative Jazz Album.”
The Grammys, considered the most important night in the music industry, will take place on February 2, 2025 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will honor winners in more than 90 categories.
