An unidentified homeless person was beaten to death in the early hours of Wednesday (16), on Barroso Street, downtown Manaus.
According to police, the suspect committed the crime and then fled the scene. The man was found with several beating marks all over his body.
Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called to help the victim, but the victim had already died when the team arrived.
There is no information about the motivation for the crime. The Legal Medical Institute (IML) was called to remove the body.
