Ciudad Juárez— A man with a gunshot wound to his arm came asking for help from the security guards of a maquiladora factory in the first minutes of the day, reported elements of the Municipal Secretariat of Public Security (SSPM).
At 12:16 a.m., security guards asked authorities for help because a frightened man with two gunshot wounds approached them and asked them to allow him to hide because he was being chased by two armed men, a city police agent reported.
The man was protected and asked for an ambulance to take him to hospital accompanied by two SSPM units.
He was admitted to the emergency room by doctors, who said his injuries were not life-threatening.
The arrest of the attackers who were traveling in a gray van was not reported, according to the victim.
