The Boi Bumbá Garantido Folk Association stated, Tuesday (22), that the singer Ludmilla recants and, therefore, will not sue the artist for the unauthorized use of bumbá during a performance in Manaus, on Sunday (20).
Through a note, bumbá highlighted that Ludmilla production and local producers contacted the Garantido board to withdraw it and realized that it was just a way to preserve the legacy.
“We also clarify that all parties involved have reached an agreement and the situation is resolved, without the need for any legal action,” the note said.
Also according to the statement, Guaranteed the importance of the respect that the singer gives to Bumbá, who values Parintina culture. He also highlighted that the previous note issued by the Association was not intended to target the artist, but rather to warn in general about the unauthorized use of the Boi-Bumbá Garantido brand and intellectual property.
