A mother was arrested red-handed, this Thursday (17), for torturing her own son, a person with disabilities, in Pirapora do Bom Jesus, in Greater São Paulo. The complaint was submitted by the father of one of the women's daughters.
Jaqueline Andrade Silva locked her son in his own room, with his feet tied with chains to the wall. When the Task Force arrived at the scene, they found the victim in a very weak condition and with a bucket of feces next to him, as well as more inhumane conditions in another room in the house. Jackson, 23, lives with his mother and three other siblings.
The boy was taken to the city emergency room, where he was evaluated by a medical team. At the request of the police, a report was issued regarding the young man's health condition.
Authorities also requested an expert examination of the crime scene, in addition to a forensic examination. The case was registered as torture at the city's Civil Police Office. The boy was also interviewed at the police station and, after going through all legal procedures, will go to his father's house.
