On the day he completed one year since his left knee injury, Neymar published a photo on his social media showing the scar from the operation he underwent during the treatment period.
“The sign of a fighter who never gives up on what he wants,” wrote Neymar on his official Instagram account.
In another post, Neymar recalled the day he left the field injured, in the match between Brazil and Uruguay, in the World Cup qualifiers, in October 2023.
“One of the worst injury years I've ever had,” said the star, who used a sad emoji at the end of the text.
Neymar is undergoing full physical recovery at Al-Hilal, in Saudi Arabia. He has returned to training with the ball and even scored a goal during the week.
