Face meeting between Mexican and American businessmen, to be chaired by the Mexican president, Claudia Sheinbaumat the State Palace, a group of Judicial Agency employees demonstrated outside the Presidential Building.

While shouting “The judiciary stands!” and “Without Justice, investment will fall!”, the workers they block access to the National Palace was via Moneda and Correo Mayor streets, so elements of the SSC riot squad arrived at the scene to contain the protest.

On the other hand, upon arrival at the National Palace, the United States Ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, was reluctant to provide any opinion regarding his position regarding judicial reform.

“The relationship with Francisco Cervantes (…) is a North American relationship, that is the topic of today, in fact we are doing very well as the first partner in the world, and it is a pleasure for me to be here,” he commented.

Meanwhile, the president of the Business Coordinating Council, Francisco Cervantes, expressed his hope for the dialogue, and stated that the peso will stabilize.
