PVEM rejected reforms to limit the Court's actions

He Green Ecological Party of Mexico (PVEM) rejecting reforms “that seek to reaffirm the supremacy of the Constitution and the Power of Reform, stated by the coordinator of the Morena parliamentary group in the Chamber of Deputies, Ricardo Monreal Avilaand in the Republican Senate, Adán Augusto López Hernández.”

The national president of the Institute of Politics, Arturo Escobar y Vega, deemed it “unnecessary to bring the country into a debate like this,” when referring to Senator Adaán Augusto López's proposal seeking to amend the Constitution to make it inviolable.

“I strongly oppose your initiative, presented yesterday by Ricardo Monreal Ávila and Adaán Augusto López, I heard that today in committee it will qualify. How important it is to bring the country into this debate,” said the PVEM leader.

Opinions regarding the issue of reform were discussed this afternoon at the joint commission on Constitutional Principles and Legislative Studies.
