Mayor's office Benito Juarez confirmed that cessation of activities from the Ciudad de los Deportes stadium, also known as Blue Stadiumso the venue will not host the match between América and Pachuca.
Via a statement, the district reported that “according to procedural timing, it is not possible to hold the planned event next Wednesday, November 6” at the stadium.

This was conveyed in a meeting held on Monday this week between Mayor Luis Mendoza and Liga MX president, Mikel Arriola.
At the meeting, both sides “agreed that ensuring the safety of stadium visitors is important and that regulations must be followed,” the mayor's office reported.
After the meeting, Mayor Benito Juárez reported that his party was in the process of evaluating the documents submitted by the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium, which would be reviewed in the coming days.
He also expressed his willingness to collaborate so that companies comply with mitigation measures.
The Ciudad de los Deportes stadium has remained suspended since November 2, after the mayor's office placed a suspension seal outside the venue, due to non-compliance with civil protection measures.
