Two Bulgarians will participate in the World Judo Championships for Veterans in Las Vegas (USA), reports the Bulgarian Federation.
Dimitar Popov, who at the start of the year was second in Europe, will start tonight in the 73 kilogram category.
Another representative, Georgi Shishkov, who also finished second on the continent, will compete in the 81 kilogram category on Wednesday evening.
A record number of participants – 1,275 from 68 countries – have registered for the championship. Of these, 1,087 were men and 188 women.
