Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal underscored the importance of international support for his country in a post on social media platform X, where he wrote that the funds provided by the US are “an important investment in Ukraine's resilience and global security”.
Direct budget support from Ukraine's Western allies has totaled $28.2 billion this year alone, the Finance Ministry said.
