The Amazonas Civil Police, this Thursday (17), issued a preventive arrest warrant for a man, 28, for failing to comply with protective measures against his ex-partner, 21. The arrest took place in the Petrópolis neighborhood, Zona Sul .
According to delegate Patrícia Leão, head of the South-Central Special Police Office for Crimes Against Women (DECCM), the individual failed to comply with protective measures in August this year, when he began sending threatening messages to the victim.
“The young woman blocked him on all social networks, so the man started sending bank transfers via pix and attaching messages threatening her. “The perpetrator also has other Police Reports (BO) for non-compliance with protective measures, insults, threats and disclosure of intimate photos, as well as other crimes against the victim,” said the delegation.
The person will be responsible for non-compliance with protective measures and threats and will be under the responsibility of the Court.
